RadialWebServer

Release6 Update4:

Please note that RadialWebServer will break if it finds files other than the expected ones in the Radial folders and probably the Wave and spectra folders as well.

To fix, delete any RDLm_XXXXX_2011.png files in the MeasPattern folder and in the Archives folder as well; be sure not to save SeaDisplay png files into the radials folder. The problem here is not so much that it's a png file but that RadialWebServer tried to parse the file name and did not get the date stamp it expected.

Archivalist

Alert: All radial site and combine site customers are advised to download the latest Archivalist 11.0.8 or higher.

Archivalist pre-v11.0.8 (Combine and Radial)

Symptoms: Versions prior to v11.0.8 can create an issue where the boot disk fills up w/o explanation. The folder disk-usage tally will not match disk capacity.

Cause: This may occur when an archival drive is not attached and a second and/or third archive volume

“/Volumes/CodarArchives or /Volumes/CodarArchives2” is created.

Fix: In the Finder window, select Go-->Go To Folder. Enter "/Volumes" in the box. Delete “/Volumes/CodarArchives and .../CodarArchives2 ” if present. The folder on the boot disk /CodarData should not be deleted.

Systems affected: Observed on systems running pre-v11.0.8 Archivalist on 10.4.11. Unconfirmed with Leopard 10.5.x.

Archivalist pre-v11.0.8 (Combine and Radial)

Symptoms: Archivalist will not automatically write the needed /Archives folder to the path when external drives are plugged in.

Fix: The problem can be corrected by manually creating the folder “Archives” on the CodarArchives external drive when it is first plugged in.

Systems affected: Observed on systems running 10.5.x and SeaSondeRelease6

Archivalist v11.0.7 (Combine and Radial) has issues running on OS 10.3.9 machines

Fix: Update to v11.0.8 as soon as possible.

Archivalist v11.0.5 has an issue, which can potentially lead to hard-disk fill up.

Also for combine sites, it cannot resolve the preferences alias file and hence does not run the

correct Archive tasks.

Radial Tools

SpectraToRadial 10.7.7 (R6U1) and earlier limited to 70 range cells

Symptoms: Processing crashes if there are more than 70 range cells to process. For example, 70 RCs at 1km resolution for 12MHz (70km range) or 70 RCs at 0.5km resolution for 25MHz (35km range). No fix released at this time.

SeaDisplaySetup

SeaDisplaySetup v5.2.4 (Release6) and higher (issue) requires new R6 MapDatabase be installed.

SeaDisplaySetup v5.2.4 (Release6) and lower (issue) requires old R5 MapDatabase be installed.

SeaSonde Extensions

Release 5 Update 3 CRITICAL ISSUE for SeaSonde Extensions

Symptoms: SeaSondeController does not recognize the USB SeaSonde receiver

Cause: SeaSonde Extensions cannot install the drivers for some OS versions prior to 10.4.11

Fix: Update Mac OS to 10.4.11 or if your MAC OS is any version prior to 10.4.11 use the alternate SeaSondeExtensions Installer.
